What this does
Each page of your PDF is rendered into a JPG image at the resolution you pick, so a five-page document becomes five images. It's handy when you need to drop a page into a slideshow or document, upload somewhere that won't take a PDF, or share a page as a plain picture. Turning a page into an image also flattens it — the text becomes part of the picture and can no longer be selected or copied.
Your PDF never leaves your device
Documents are often the most sensitive files people have — contracts, statements, records. Many "PDF to JPG" sites work by uploading your file to their servers. This one doesn't: it loads a PDF engine into your browser and does all the rendering locally, so your document stays on your machine. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will still work.
Quality and size
A higher quality setting renders each page at more pixels, giving sharper text at the cost of a larger image. "High" suits most uses; step up to "Very high" for detailed pages you'll zoom into, or down to "Standard" for quick previews. Very large or very long PDFs take longer and use more memory, since all the work happens on your own device.
